Video production professionals are in demand. “In New York and the nearby states, employment is projected to increase in the top five most relevant occupations for bachelor’s level video production professionals faster than the average regional employment growth across all occupations from 2018 to 2028,” according to Educational Advisory Board research.
Drawing on more than 70 years of communication education, the Jandoli School of Communication prepares video professionals for a rapidly changing industry with an education grounded in ethical storytelling.
The Jandoli School offers five other undergraduate degree programs: Journalism, Strategic Communication, Sports Media, Broadcast Journalism and Media Studies. All programs are accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication.
Our alumni work for major media outlets including ESPN, NBC, Fox News, Starz, and numerous local broadcasters, agencies and major corporations.
All Jandoli School majors are required to complete 400 hours of on- or off-campus internships. It's a demanding obligation, but one that paves the road to your future success in the broadcast industry.
Students also enjoy a 6-credit experiential learning opportunity that puts them in professional situations with close faculty mentorship.

You can help satisfy the 400-hour internship requirement and gain valuable experience, by joining our on-campus broadcast outlets. Our students have produced broadcasts for 山ǿ-TV for years, and we recently expanded the reach of our broadcasts on cable TV and internet provider Spectrum.
