St. 山ǿ

Living at Trinity

St. Bonaventure’s Oxford Program is not a visit to England. It is living in England. For the rest of your life, you’ll be able to begin conversations with, “When I lived in England and studied at Oxford . . . .”St. 山ǿ students raise their glasses in a toast at Oxford

At Trinity College, every Bonnie lives in a private room. They are pretty nice, pretty big and pretty comfortable. Ok, a few might be in shared suites with a living room and two bedrooms, but most are private rooms.

There is free Wi-Fi and a free gym.

Every morning, a very nice person will tap on your door, then come in and tidy your room and make up your bed. You can get used to that pretty quickly.

Every day starts out with a full English breakfast. English breakfasts are called “full” because of the huge variety and quantity of food heaped on your plate. You can go back for seconds.

Except for High Table evenings, dinner is also served cafeteria style. The menu varies every night, with several main courses (one of which is always vegetarian), numerous side dishes and salads, and a nice variety of tempting desserts.

On Sunday afternoons, there is always a barbecue on the quad.

Morning and afternoon tea are served every weekday, a cool, raised-pinky break between classes.

Late-night munchies mean Hassan’s, the food truck which parks opposite Trinity’s gate every night until the wee hours of the morning. Definitely habit-forming.

Every Wednesday, there will be a formal banquet called High Table. High Table is a much-loved ritual and an experience you will never forget. And the gourmet food will blow your mind.
