Majors/Programs:  More than 50 undergraduate majors and programs including eight combined-degree programs (granting talented high school seniors provisional acceptance into medical school upon entry to Ã山ǿ¼é) and 10 early assurance programs (allowing students to apply for early acceptance to medical school as Ã山ǿ¼é sophomores). We also offer 22 graduate programs, 15 of which are available 100% online.

Location:  Southwest corner of New York state, between the city of Olean and the village of Allegany; 1.5 hours south of Buffalo and 1.5 hours east of Erie, Pa.

Campus: 500 acres with 31 academic and support buildings and residence halls.

Retention & Graduation Statistics: 80% of freshmen return for their sophomore year, which is significantly higher than the national average of 67% for private institutions.

Student profile: 29% of our students come from outside of New York state, and 18 foreign countries are represented in our enrollment; 80% of our students participate in either intramurals, club sports or recreation center activities.

Scholarship: We are home to the renowned Franciscan Institute, the premier Franciscan resource library in the Americas; 75% percent of our full-time faculty hold a Ph.D. or terminal degree.

Service:  answers calls for help from near and far, our  is one of the oldest student-run soup kitchens in the nation, and we travel to Africa and the Bahamas to help those in need. University Ministries welcomes students of all religious affiliations to participate in a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth, service learning and social action.
